Feeling good! -- One more to go!

I feel pretty good!  My strength is up and I have no nausea or diarrhea.  My only complaint is my eyes keep watering and my skin is wrinkly from dehydration.  The eye ball has cells that grow quickly, so the chemo attacks it and sloughs off the cells, making them water constantly.   It looks like I am crying a lot, but I'm not.  Oh well, only one more chemotherapy left.  Just two more weeks out of my life that will be bad and I'm done.  Whoohoo.    The next chemo is Oct. 1st.

After that, I get to rest up for a few weeks and then I go for radiation.  I'll tell you more about that when I get there.  Radiation is necessary since I didn't go get this taken care of when the tumor was small.  Because it was large and close to the chest wall, I have to make sure every single cancer cell is gone and won't grow back.  The odds of it coming back are high if I don't do this.  At least radiation doesn't make you sick like Chemo does.

By the way, do you know anyone who needs a wake-up call to go get a mammogram?        It's Ellen on the line: DeGeneres records phone messages urging women to fight breast cancer  One-a-day Vitamins and Ellen Degeneres have created a way to have Ellen call to remind people that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and it is time to take care of yourself!    Have Ellen call you to remind yourself.  Have Ellen call your sister.  Your mother.  Your best friend.  Your teammate.  It's free and fun.
