1st day back to work after chemo

I'm glad I'm so inspirational to people. But, to keep it real, I've been laying low all weekend, sleeping. I've had to take medication to ward off the nausea and diarrhea. It's been not bad, really, when you think how it could be, but it wasn't "easy peazy", ya know? Thank God I had a very supportive and helpful husband at home.
I'm hoping today will be better. Looks like the temperatures outside are dropping a bit. I don't do well in the heat as it is, so if it cools off, I'll feel better. The High today is supposed to be 85, but it's already 87. Hm.... At least it's not 97 or 107 like on Saturday. If I am up to getting back to work today, I'll take more photos of my new hair cut before it leaves my head. he he.
Right now, I'm sort of "over" the whole hair thing. I think I just want to get back to normal. Get back to work and do some good. I want to help out the team at work.

Hi Julie
I'm sure it wasn't that "easy peazy" for you at all. Appreciate your honesty.
Over the course of your treatments, there will be good days and not so good days. Try to capture a great day in your mind and in your soul to remember so that when you are having a down day, you can visualize that former good day to be assured another one will be coming.
Whether you are up or down, be free to be you and tell us ~ we are all on your side kiddo.
Love Brian

Thanks, that warms my heart. I actually was having a pretty easy time of it and then the 3rd day it hit me. Still dealing with it today, but I'll look forward to another day when I'm back to "normal." ha!
