Chemo went very well!

What did I say? Easy peazy, lemon squeezey!

Thanks to the port Dr. Police put in two weeks ago, I didn't need an IV.  YEAH!  The first port entry was a little rough, but it went in and it will be easier after this first one.  The nurse is wonderful.  As the medicines went in, she talked about what they do and how they will help, and all the possible side effects to watch out for.  They have a really good 5-day strong anti-nausea medication in there with all the IV bags, so I wasn't feeling a teensy bit queezy.  I sat in this comfy chair and looked at the lake for 4 hours and chilled.  Not so bad.   I bet lots of you wish you had a nice afternoon like that, eh?

In fact, Rick came with me and he was a hoot.  It was a good afternoon for him, too.  He's been working like a dog lately.  Please keep him in your prayers as well.  I nominate him for the Best Husband of the Year award.  Right now he is cleaning the house to be sure there are no bugs on me.

By the way, for those of you who knew I had a bone scan done to see if the cancer went into the bones, it came back negative!  YEAH!!!  So, I am clear of any cancer anywhere right now.

Thanks again for all your prayers and good wishes.  It's working!!!
